Usually, when I'm hiding with my camera, I sit in the Eastman blind that I have. It works wonderfully, but does limit the range of vision one has while sitting inside. So this morning, I decided to try something a bit different

So this morning, I decided to try something a bit different. The previous week, I had purchased from Academy a couple of items: a camouflage-patterned burlap blanket and a camouflage head cover. I took a plastic lawn chair down to Turtle Pond and placed it against a brushy background. Then I got settled in the chair, pulled the head cover on, wrapped the burlap around me and the monopod the camera was on.

Joni had walked down to the pond with me. Once I was all wrapped up, she thought I was a pretty amusing sight. Once she had her laughs, she went back to the cabin. And I waited to see how this setup would work out.
